BAD news...Kevin severely injured his right arm in a snowboarding accident yesterday in Denver. It's not quite clear whether it's broken, sprained or just badly bruised..but he performed last nights concert in a sling. I also heard that he had dislocated his shoulder, not broken his arm. Like I said...as of know the details aren't clear. But he is hurt and I hope it heals up soon so he won't be in too much pain.

On a lighter note, Howie wrote a song for Mandy Moore on her upcoming album "So Real."

Nick Carter will appear on TRL on MTV Nov. 19...so mark your calendars!!!

Today's news comes from the Backstreet Band website:

It turns out that Kevin did indeed dislocate his shoulder. But he is doing much better now and he'll be fine.

I previously reported that they would be coming back for another tour in May and June of next year. I was wrong, because they're actually doing another tour in FEBRUARY!!!! so start saving up now. And this time they WILL go to Texas! :)

A.J. has died his hair again...it's a really bright yellow now. Yellow happens to be one of my favorite colors and I love it on him...

The Backstreet Boys Fan Club website should be up in a week. Go to www.bsbband.com to get the site address. (Note: it's not there yet...like I said, it'll be up in a week or so)

The Backstreet Boys recorded background vocals for a new Elton John song that's coming up on a soundtrack.

Everything between Jive and the Backstreet Boys has been settled.

The new single is "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely"...so look out for it on your local radio stations.

Brian and AJ are going to be in the movie "Olive Juice". Olive Juice stars Brian Littrell's long-time girlfriend Leighanne Wallce. The film is being filmed in Mt. Dora in a pet shop. Brian will play a horse-carriage driver and AJ will be a nightclub disc jockey. It seems that this was reported in a Florida newspaper.

In one of the largest record deals ever, multiplatinum group Backstreet Boys has struck a new partnership agreement with its label, Jive Records, valued at about $60 million, sources said. The five-album deal includes a significant amount of money up front for the group's next release, sources said. The follow-up to the best-selling "Millennium" album is slated for release in September. Jive's re-signing of Backstreet Boys puts an end to threats that the group -- one of the world's most popular -- might leave the label. Backstreet Boys, its management company the Firm and lawyers for both parties declined comment. Jive Records could not be reached for comment. The contract puts Backstreet Boys in the same financial stratum as such multimillion-dollar artists as Prince, Michael Jackson and the Rolling Stones. Backstreet Boys has sold nearly 40 million albums worldwide during the past four years and is the best-selling act of 1999.

And if you didn't read the last tid-bit or overlooked it...here it is again...the new BSB album is slated for Sept. of next year!!!!! :)
